Center for Research Integrity
The Center for Research Integrity (CRI) at Children’s Hospital is a new initiative to advance the knowledge and practice of the responsible conduct of pediatric research through empirical research on the institutions, processes and values that affect integrity in research. Reflecting the unique considerations relating to research with children, the CRI works to inform public policy at the local and federal level through consultation with agencies such as the Food and Drug Administration and the Office for Human Research Protections of the Department of Health and Human Services. The scope of CRI involvement includes the conduct and regulation of international research. The Center serves as resource for the Children’s Hospital investigator community, children and families involved in child health research, and can serve as a national and international resource for the understanding and advancement of research integrity.
