CHOP Child Passenger Safety Videos

Choosing and installing a child's car seat or booster seat can be confusing. CHOP researchers have developed a series of four brief, age-specific, downloadable videos designed to help parents choose the right child restraint system and install it correctly.

These videos are currently available for download on the Keeping Kids Safe During Crashes website External Website. Much of this information is also available in Spanish External Website.

See why kids ages 4 to 8 need a booster seat for a seat belt to fit properly. Watch these videos and leave no room for regret.

The Keeping Kids Safe During Crashes website was developed by the Center for Injury Research and Prevention at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) to help parents and caregivers learn more about child safety seats, booster seats, and seat belts. From 1998 to 2008, doctors and scientists at CHOP and The University of Pennsylvania studied more than 500,000 motor vehicle crashes to learn more about child safety. The information on this site, including our videos, follows current safety recommendations from the American Academy of Pediatrics and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
