Partners for Child Passenger Safety Fact Sheets
PCPS has developed two sets of fact sheets to serve as resources for educators, parents, advocates, physicians and legislators.
To view these files you must have Adobe Acrobat Reader. You can download the latest version of Adobe Acrobat here for free.

Educational Fact Sheets
These single-page, black and white, photocopier-friendly educational tools were designed in collaboration with the American Academy of Pediatrics for distribution and use in pediatric practices. They address the many questions parents and caregivers may have about safe seating positions for children, use of belts and tethers, safe cars for families, correct belt-positioning booster seat use, and transitioning children to adult seat belts.

Legislative Fact Sheets
NEW! 3 Steps to Optimize State Child Passenger Safety Laws ![]()
Advocates can download this double-sided quick-reference fact sheet to illustrate the effectiveness of optimal vs. sub-optimal booster seat laws. It's a handy tool to use in presentations or for state legislative hearings.
These fact sheets contain data on 4-to 8-year-old children in car crashes reported to PCPS between January 1999 and November 2002. Each fact sheet is available in full-color and in black-and-white (b&w). The black-and-white versions reproduce well on a standard copier.
