The Informatics Education Division of the Center for Biomedical Informatics (CBMi) is committed to providing healthcare providers and researchers with quality educational programs and activities related to informatics. These programs and activities provide dynamic educational experiences, which broaden and enrich the healthcare professional's understanding of informatics and provide a foundation for continual learning. We provide colloquia, seminars, workshops, conferences, meetings, journal clubs, fellowships, internships, and educational research focused on biomedical informatics.

CBMi Introduces Educational Certificate of Informatics

The Center for Biomedical Informatics Education group (CBMiEd) has launched a new program to recognize employees participating in a wide variety of its educational sessions by issuing a Certificate of Informatics.

Biomedical Informatics Internship Program Off and Running:

CBMi's Training and Education department facilitates undergraduate and graduate experiences in a real-life research hospital environment.

Building an Interactive Informatics Educational Module:

An online educational module is being developed that will give healthcare professionals the opportunity to interactively learn more about the emerging challenges and opportunities associated with biomedical informatics.

American Medical Informatics Association Academic Forum

The Center for Biomedical Informatics is participating in the development of biomedical informatics as an academic discipline by participating in this forum.
