Clinician Basic Computer Literacy

The Center for Biomedical Informatics (CBMi) Informatics Education Division is currently conducting a study that examines the basic computer literacy of clinicians. The purpose of the study is to determine whether clinicians have the basic computer skills necessary to implement an electronic medical record system.

The study is conducted using a sample population of approximately 100 clinicians. The basic skills self-assessment instrument designed at Miami University of Ohio is being used to quantitatively assess their computer proficiencies.
