From basic demographic profiles by department to the delivery of substantial data sets ready for analysis, the Clinical Research Unit (CRU) has been supporting the Children's Hospital research community since its inception.

The examples below are common research-related reports but they are not intended to be a complete description of the data we can deliver.

Are there enough potential study subjects or controls in the population of interest for the study to be viable?
The CRU can easily count the number of children or visits that meet the defined criteria (diagnosis, procedure done, medications used, vital sign data, etc.).

Can you complete a demographic profile for our grant proposal?
The CRU will provide profiles for any of the Primary Care Centers, or any subset of the network.

Can you help us with a question we think we can answer with data available in EpicCare?
It is possible for the CRU to extract and manipulate large data sets for analysis.
