The Center for Biomedical Informatics (CBMi) recently accepted
an invitation to join the American Medical Informatics Association's (AMIA) Academic Forum, a formal collection of academic biomedical and health informatics institutions and thought leaders.
The goals of the Academic Forum, as reported on their Web site are:
As a charter member, CBMi will help to strengthen the forum, lending its expertise in pediatric medical informatics and its experience with a successful internship program, to develop health informatics into a robust, fully recognized and accredited academic discipline.
