At The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia we understand the importance of a healthy mind and a healthy body. All Hospital employees have complimentary access to the GlobalFit network, the nation's leading provider of healthy living benefits. Through GlobalFit, you can find gyms and health clubs in the Philadelphia area and receive special discounts and membership options. GlobalFit provides free guest passes to select local gyms and clubs. If you do not want to make a long-term commitment, GlobalFit offers options to enroll in both weekly and monthly membership plans. Frequent travelers benefit from GlobalFit's travel program, which allows you to access certain provider clubs outside of Philly.

In addition to commercial fitness centers, Children's Hospital employees can also access gym facilities at the University of Pennsylvania at an affiliate member rate. The University of Pennsylvania Pottruck Health and Fitness Center is located blocks from the main Hospital campus and houses over 19,000 square feet of fitness space, including an Olympic-size swimming pool, basketball courts, climbing walls and a range of fitness classes.
