Acquisitions and Contracting

A joint unit of the Hospital's Acquisitions and Contracting Department, the Stokes Institute Acquisitions and Contracting Department addresses the unique supply, instrumentation and contracting needs of research and ensures that the Hospital Acquisitions and Contracting Department considers research-specific concerns. Acquisitions and Contracting ensures the timely delivery of the highest quality goods and services at the best overall cost to support the Hospital's research. The group assists divisions with expediting orders, processing returns and repairs and providing requested reports on purchased items. The department also administers price protection agreements by managing the bidding process, identifying bid opportunities and maintaining a bid cycle for routinely purchased items and services.
